"Mother Figure" explores the ancient connection between the natural world & the unseen forces that protect it.

The fig tree, (Ficus spp.), is a native guardian species deep in the rainforests of Queensland. With twisted vines & towering buttresses, the complexity of its structure provides a safe haven for countless fauna & epiphytic flora. The tree, depicted in its full, majestic form, is a tribute to the ancient guardians who have stood watch over us for millennia.
